Hello, dear readers,

Thank you all for stopping by this issue to read the wonderful articles our writers have worked so hard on! Welcome to Prism, a way for LGBTQ+ and intersectional voices (and allies!) to be shared. I hope everyone is having a great start to classes here on HEX and elsewhere, or if you're past that stage in life, having a wonderful start to your autumn season in general! Here at Prism, we have been working to set a more regular and strict schedule for our publication to give you the content you want and to share joy and love from around the world. Keep an eye out for wonderful things to come in the next few months!

I was recently discussing some things happening in my own life with a friend, and they were sharing with me some challenges they've been facing as well. It occurred to us (not for the first time) that this is a difficult period for everyone, something that I think we may forget in daily routine due to this 'new normal'. Please take this as your reminder that it's okay to acknowledge that things are very challenging right now! Take some deep breaths, give yourself time to heal and rest, and then use that replenished energy to keep pushing forward. You are beautiful, you are loved, and you are, most importantly, POWERFUL enough to enact change in your own life and in the lives of others, if you so choose. Don't forget it!

If you would like to share a piece of poetry, art, or news that you think our writers should feature in a future issue, please send it to me (gingergeek) or Zoe in an owl message. It certainly could be original, but works by others are beyond welcome as long as you share the source & the appropriate artist/author! In the same spirit, thank you for your questions for 'Dear Queer Auntie'! Please continue to submit any additional questions or concerns to our wonderful Editor in Chief, Zoe.

We are so grateful for your continued support and contributions. Wishing you all a lovely week; we'll see you next time for another issue of Prism. Remember to live colorfully!

Lots of love,
Ginger
